Ceylon cinnamon or true cinnamon which is native to Sri Lanka is very unique among other cinnamon species. The finest and best cinnamon in the world comes from Sri Lanka.  Organic Ceylon cinnamon is sustainably grown in Sri Lanka, where Ceylon cinnamon contributes to over 55% of the country’s space industry. Sri Lanka’s cinnamon plantations span nearly 10,000 acres, with over 350,000 families involved in farming and production. Our production base is in the heart of the main cultivation areas of Sri Lanka.

 The cinnamon powder works well with savory and sweet dishes. You can add it to stews, soups, smoothies, bread, cakes, and pastries. Sprinkle it over your favorite baked fruits or vegetables, or onto your hot tea or coffee. Pairs well with: turmeric, black peppercorns, and cayenne pepper.

For several decades, we have exerted great efforts to produce labor and nature friendly tea in Sri Lanka. The dream became a reality when Ahinsa Tea was originally produced in 1999 in a small tea estate, namely the Nilmini Estates in the southern part of Sri Lanka.
